in 10.7m, 111.4m or 12m lengths has been introduced by MAN. Standard features include roll-over bars, polyurethane foam bumpers, a 300-litre (66 gal) tank, air suspension and power steering.
A six-cylinder diesel engine arranged flat at the rear of the vehicle has a rating of 240hp in naturally aspirated form, or 280hp when turbo-charged. The engine can be coupled either to a six-speed synchromesh gearbox with single-plate clutch or to a fully automatic transmission.
Heating is by means of floor level vents along the entire length of the vehicle and also boosted by heated air being led between the outer and inner side panelling to prevent side window misting.
