• A new folding tail-lift has been introduced by the Ray Smith Group made from aluminium sections fabricated by Hydro Aluminium Profiler UK.
The new fold-up version adds a weight-saving option to its upand-under design which stows away beneath the truck's chassis.
The unit has bolted rather than welded construction, which minimises repair costs.
The panels are anodised aluminium and resist pit
ting damage caused by salt spray. Similar versions are available on a number of other RSG tail-lifts, including traditional cantilever types which close conventionally against the body.
