• Carrier Transicold has added six models to its Supra range of diesel overcab refrigeration units.
New features include greater capacity, higher airflow, greater safety, and lower maintenance and servicing costs. The increase in performance, at an operating temperature of VC, has been achieved by optimising the design of the heat exchangers.
Carrier Transicold's own EasyStart system reduces compressor and engine load on start-up and this improves service life.
From a maintenance point of view, access to belt tensioners and the air filter has been improved, and two receiver sight glasses have been added which are visible from the outside. Maintenance costs have been cut thanks to 15% fewer parts to service or replace.
