AN objection to an application for an operator's licence by Redbourne Transportation Ltd of Rothwell, Northants, has been lodged by the Road Haulage Association's East Midland •area.

A LEASE and fixed price maintenance package deal is being prepared by Fodens and will be announced at the Scottish Motor Show. The package will offer a leasing scheme under the umbrella of a new subsidiary company, Foden Leasing Ltd.

SEASPEED Ferries have Started a new 24-day-cycle ro-ro service to the Saudi Arabian port of Jedda from Felixstowe via Rotterdam and Antwerp. The service can cater for conventional TIR trailers and abnormal loads up to 150 tons.
