Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LEICESTER-BASED Alltruck has spent £3.5m on 55 new DAF tractors and rigids for its rental and contract hire fleet to meet an increase in demand after it opened new depots in Sleaford and Nottingham.

The firm added 35 XF105 tractors, including 460 with Space cabs and 510 with Super Space cabs, and 20 18-tonne CF65.250 with Space cabs with a choice of box or curtainsided bodies.

Marketing manager Mark Brown says the firm chose DAF because the vehicles are good quality and, in the case of the tractors’ specifications, differentiates Alltruck from its competitors. “The 460 and 510 engines deliver good fuel efficiency, which means we can deliver high driver acceptability with comfort and driveability, and high acceptability for transport managers on the fuel efficiency side of things too,” he says.

The deal brings Alltruck’s spending to more than £10m during 2011.
