I N its role as the industry's Lead Body with responsibility for identifying, upholding and maintaining national standards associated with quality and training, the RHDTC is to provide a benchmarking system of approval for training centres.
Initially this will recognise LGV Driver Training Centres, but further developments are being planned to recognise providers of quality training services in support of N /SVQs.
The system will be administered by RTITB Services Ltd and while the RHDTC standards and procedures arc being developed, existing accreditation and instructor registration arrangements offered by RTITB Services Ltd will continue to be available.
Further details of the RHDTC's I.GV Driver Training Centre Accreditation and Certification arrangements will be published in the New Year.
