Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BOTH SIDES of the Metropolitan and South-East regional joint negotiating committee were scheduled to meet on Thursday night this week, a week after Transport and General Workers Union representatives rejected a E4-a-week wage offer.

The offer would have raised the 32.5 tonne rate to £100.50 for 40 hours, the 38-tonne rate to £106 and would have included a pro-rata increase for non-hgv drivers.

Subsistence would have been raised by 50p to £11.50 per night.

TGWU representatives felt it did not go far enough towards their claim for a £7 increase in basic rates and a ft rise in subsistence.
