Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I TAKE LEAVE to question the statement in CM's report of the Road Haulage Association exhibition at Crowthorne (CM, November 10).

It will not be, and I quote "the cheapest on the market".

The Lorry Driver of the Year national finals staged what I believe to be the first ride and drive exhibition facility in the United Kingdom in 1978 at Cranfield and each year since. The site cost to exhibitors in 1984 was still only £1 per sq metre maximum, the rate paid by the vehicle manufacturers being much less at £500 for 750 sq metres — 66p per sq metre!

Details of the LDoY finals exhibition are obtainable from: Lorry Driver of the Year Association, 1 Stockbury House, Church Street, Storrington, West Sussex RH20 4LD JOHN WELLS National Secretary LDoY competion
