KNIGHTS OF OLD wants authority for 30 vehicles and the same number of trailers at the base of its customer Jas Bowman and Sons in Hitchen, Hertfordshire.

The haulier, based in Kettering, Northants, says the crossdock facility at the site will allow it to develop more services in Herts and London.

Family-owned Jas Bowman and Sons is one of the UK’s leading lour millers Knights of Old moved into the facility on 1 March, and will be employing up to 30 new staff at the site.
