Wardley Lane, was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving at Newcastle Crown Court.

He ran over his wife Josephine, aged 58, with his 26-tonne Scania on 12 July 2009 after drinking half a bottle of Bacardi (CM17 June). He claimed he saw herjump in front of the vehicle. but assumed she would move out of the way.
