THE Post Office is offering a 30 per County Parcels Service during Sep Following its decision to freeze all main published inland postal prices until April next year, the Post Office is offering 20p off national rates at every weight step up to 10kg.
The UK is divided into 29 County parcels area, and customers can benefit from this reduction by sending a parcel anywhere within their local area, which may be one large county or a group of neighbouring counties.
Coupled with a 13p discount on special books of stamps, this means that a 2kg parcel, for example, can be sent anywhere within the County Parcels area for 95p, compared with the nor cent discount on the Royal Mail's tember.

The County Parcels Service does not operate in the London area. But London customers will be able to take advantage of a 30 per cent discount on normal parcel rates sent within the London numbered postal districts.
