Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

At the recent annual inspection of public-service vehicles in Sheffield, 152 vehicles (89 motor coaches and 63 taxicabs) were produced for inspection by the watch committee. Of this number, 57 coaches and 45 taxicabs were passed, but the inspectors intimated to

the owners of four of the latter vehicles that they would not again be recommended for licences. Further inspection is to be made of 32 coaches and 14 taxicabs, after defects which were pointed out have been made good, but four taxicabs were rejected. In addition to the above, 49 buses of the East Midland Motor Services, Ltd., were inspected at Clowne. All the vehicles were in good condition and the inspectors recommended that licences he granted in each case; 33 other buses belonging to the company are to be inspected at the depot at Chesterfield.
