Exhaust Dangers in Blackwall Tunnel.

As a result of the discovery of the risk of fatalities due to exhaust-gas poisoning when motor vehicles break down in Blackwall Tunnel, the highways committee of the London County Council has recently recommended that five electrically driven exhaust fans shall be installed in the ventilation shafts at an estimated cost of £3,900.
