108] DEPENDENCE LAMPS. [10S

The Dependence lamps are by now, we imagine, familiar to the majority of our readers. We may shortly state, however, that the lamps intended for service on heavy motors are spring-mounted wherever experience has taught that this method is desirable. It is claimed, and the claim is certainly borne out by many users, that the lamp stands up even under the most arduous of service condition's.

For the more aristocratic town-delivery vehicles a range of acetylene head, side and tail lamps, together with generators, is shown. Readers will have little difficulty in selecting a lighting outfit suitable for any type of machine.

The excellent array of tools of every description shown by this well-known London maker gies evidence of much care and forethought in the selection of equipment for the saving of both titne and labour on the part of both users and manufacturers. Two lathes, 41 in. centre and 6 in. centre, respectively, several sensitive drills, a portable forge. and an emery grinder, complete what we consider an interesting accessory stand. Readers will do well to get the new Methrash catalogue, which has just been published t in it, the full list of this maker's tools is described and illustrated.
