Load. H.P. Drive. Price (a).

3 cwt. 9.3 Worm 193 (a) Covered van complete.

Two examples are shown on the company's stand.

On this well-known Midland manufacturer's stand there are two excellent examples of the light delivery van de luxe. Both chassis have 9.5 h.p. engines, the drive being by means of worm. The cylinders are cast en bloc, and the adjustable valve tappets and springs are enclosed in dust-proof covered plates. The final drive is by means of overhead worm. The differential shafts are constructed

F24 of best high-tensile steel, and enclosed in substantial steel-welded tubes. The auxiliary suspension is a distinctive feature of these

models, making the equipment particularly adapted for delivering articles of delicate fabric, such as millinery, confectionery, etc. Sankey detachable wheels are fitted, the tire sizes being 700 mm. by 80 mm. With the intention of specializing in bodywork, the concern constructs its own bodies, considering that this part of industrial-vehicle equipment should receive careful attention in every detaiL The finish of the examples on view prove beyond doubt that this has been done. The price of each of these models, which are capable of accommodating a 3-cwt. load, is under .2200 complete with tires, spare wheel, and all accessories. This is the smallest-capacity machine at Olympia.
