THE HILLMAN COMMERCIAL MODEL.

60j • [60 Lead. H.P. Drive. Price(a) 10 cwt. 10 Bevel 2110 (a) Chassis with tires.

* Five examples are staged.

Four RI dehed vans and one chassis are displayed by this Midland manufacturer. Only one type of industrial model is, however, being put through the Coventry

works at present ; and it is constructed to carry loads up to 12 cwt. The principal feature of the machine is the V-type twincylinder engine, capable of developing 16 b.h.p. This construction, besides providing a comparatively even engine torque, allows the two Bosch magnetos which are fitted, and also the Solex carburetter, to be placed in a very accessible position. The transmission is of the conventional type, the live axleim pressed us as being quite a sound engineering job. The three boxvan bodies mounted, and the canvas-top wagon, are fine examples of bodywork constructed by the London Improved Motor Coach Builders, Ltd.—the general finish very favourably impressed us. The chassis price of these excellent, little machines is 1200, fitted with Dunlop grooved pneumatics ; they should be well-re ceived at this price.
