Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

As we have already announced in this journal, F. B. Goodchild and Co., Ltd., has arranged with the Laycock Engineering Co., Ltd., of Sheffield, for the manufacture. of a comprehensive range of industrial vehicles of entirely British design and manufacture. These range in capacity from 10 cwt. to five tons; mid it was hoped to have completed examples of the two 10-cwt. and the three-ton machines for the Show, but this hope, unfortunately, has not been fulfilled. There is staged a partly-finished 10-cwt. van, which is sufficiently far advanced to demonstrate its many unusual features of construction. It has a girder frame with double transverse springs, on above and one below the centres of the road wheels, its water-cooled engine is to be provided with a self-starter, and its gearbox will be fitted for four spends and a reverse, arid it will have all-gear drive to the back wheels. Another 10-cwt. model, of more orthodox type of design, is also shown, with an unfinished natural wood body and the chassis in shop grey. This has a four cylinder monobloc engine, a three-speed-and-reverse gearbo x, and bevel-drive live axle. Another model, also unfortunately not quite complete, is a three-ton brewer's wagon with four-cylinder 35 h.p. Drayson engine, driving through an inverted cone clutch, and a fourspeed-and-reverse gearbox to a. worm-driven back axle. A couple of complete Drayson engines on separate stands, and a number of component parts, including a worm and worm wheel such as will be used in the three-tonner, are also displayed. We hope in the near future to be able to give a complete description of the design and construction of these very promising machines.
