Five complete models are displayed by this well-known manufacturer, the chassis being typical examples of the machines which have proved themselves so capable of continuous hard work in the employment of the Italian War Department. The industrial model staged is in the form of a 15-cwt. light delivery van, the vertical engine of which has the cylinders cast en bloc and is rated at 15-20 b.n. It is cooled by means of a centrifugal pump. The F.I.A.T. patent dual

jet carburetter is fitted, and the fuel is also pressure fed. Lubricatien is forced, and there is a gauge fitted to the dashboard. This company was one of the pioneers of the multiple-disc clutch, and this form of transmission is fitted on all

the models exhibited. Transmission is through a four-speed gearbox and a final drive to the road wheels by means of bevel-driven live axle, a feature of F.L.A.T. transmission being that it is all enclosed by a patent form of combined axle and propeller shaft steel casing. The model is mounted on Michelin pneumatics, A second interesting exhibit is in the form of a 34 h,p. shooting brake. This is exhibited to demonstrate that the pleasure-vehicle chassis can be readily adapted for accommodating such a body ; it is shod with twin Michelins on the rear wheels.

The remaining exhibits comprise a, four-seated private or provincial cab ; a. 15-seated torpedo char4-bancs, of the chassis type proved so successful in Tripoli ; and a fine example of the private omnibus, the engine of which is of the company's 20-30 h.p. type.
