SIMPLY RED 1111 Nlitech Instruments has launched the Therrnogarde temperature monitor, which transmits and stores data from a refrigeration unit to a cab via an infra-red beam.
The information is displayed in the cab with no need for hard wire linkage. lip to 100 hours' data can be stored for later downloading if required.
A unit has been on test for six months with a UK reefer operator, with satisfactory results, says Mitech.
A price has yet to be fixed, but will be less than 2600 for the basic package.
