Mr Bottrill was unable to comment on suggestions that Edinburgh Corporation bus services might be extended to all parts of the new region. 'This is all a matter for discussion. What I can say is that the Transport Act makes no provision for the acquisition of the Scottish Bus Group by the local transport authority or vice-versa," said Mr Bottr ill.
