Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The Road Haulage Association has admitted its decision to hold its annual conference in Paris was a had one, and has bowed to pressure from its members to change the venue.

The conference will now take place in Marbella. Spain, from 5-12 October—one week earlier than previously planned. When details of the Paris conference were first announced at last year's event in Cyprus they were met with outrage from RHA members, many of whom have suffered because of France's ban on British beef and the blockades at French ports.

Conference chairman Bob Russett says: We are mindful of what members tell us. The French have given us enough stick, and we are not prepared to contribute to their economy."

• The RHA has produced a new Hauliers Shop Product Catalogue which has about 80 pages of products for hauliers, from tachograph charts to in-cab televisions and safety devices.
