Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Two-tiered roller tracking inside the trailers of Gateway Foodmarkets Ltd of Bishopsworth, Bristol, considerably ease the handling of pallet-based cages in which the dry goods are carried.

The company operates 40 24-ton-gcw articulated vans — mostly York Freightmasters hauled by AEC Mandators — with each trailer carrying a maximum of 22 cage pallets per deck. The roller tracking means it is easy for the loaded pallets to be pushed by hand and in addition the Ratcliff tail-lifts with which the vehicles are fitted also have rollers incorporated in their decks.

The floors have channels let into them so that Claretainer roll pallets, which are normally carried by a fleet of 20 Dodge refrigerated vans, may also be transported on the Freightmasters.
