• Three drivers working for Cumbria-based Lawson's Haulage have won praise from Harwich fire fighters for saving five lives.
David Clark, Shaun Monkhouse and Andrew Penrice were working on a job for Cockermouth-based Lawson's in Harwich when they saw smoke billowing from a block of flats. They broke down the door of one apartment to rescue a sleeping man, then did the same at a neighbouring flat to rescue a woman and her three young children.
