I wonder whether I am the youngest man to hold a class I hgv licence; my date of birth is March 16 1949 and I passed the test at Watnall on April 10 1970 and am unable to obtain employment due to my young age.
Firms towhich I have applied say that insurance companies will not insure men under 25 years. Is this right in all cases? If so, it seems absolutely stupid to have 21 as the age giving entitlement to drive hgv. K. M. EBBINS, Grantham.
