Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Hawk's item "The Only Girl ", which appeared in your issue of April 3. He may well wonder how long it will be before "the gentle sex" take over on the buses—many a true Word is spoken in jest!

am a bus driver working for the Midland Red and would inform you that we have two lady drivers—one based at Bearwood Garage and the other at Hereford. Incidentally, they're not allowed to drive double-deckers. I believe that their service dates back to the war years when there was a shortage of manpower. Please do tell The Hawk about these two "rare birds ".

Kidderminster, GEOFFREY A. LLOYD.
