T the end of last September there ..1-1 were 90,852 A-licensed vehicles, none on Special A, 30,110 on Contract A, 76,846 on B and 1,278,270 on C.
Giving these figures in the Commons last week, Mr. Marples added that at the end of 1962—the latest date when figures were available—there were 15,171 A licences held, no Special A, 12,920 Contract A, 35,482 B and 569,022 C,
