Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A PERSONNEL carrier conversion for the Standard PA Atlas van is now being offered by Kenex Coachwork, Ltd., Dover. Three models of 12-seat bodywork are available, known as the Kenebrake, Yeoman and Kenebus. The Kenebus is sold with upholstered or wooden-slatted seats to cheice.

In Kenebrake and Yeoman conversions, the seats are arranged for eight forward-facing passengers, with two double seats positioned longitudinally at the rear. The two Kenebus varieties are designed to carry driver and front seat passenger in the normal position, with longitudinal seats for the remainder.

In all models the seats are on tubular steel frames and, where specified, are tensioned with spring mattresses and upholstered with Latex foam and p.v.c. trimming. There are two large windows on each side and the rear windows have swivel louvre opening sections. Fixed steps are provided beneath the near-side cab, side and rear doors.

Prices of the conversions, excluding painting, are: Keriebrake, £627 7s.; Yeoman, £624 17s.; Kenebus, upholstered seats, 1621 17s.; Kenebus, wooden seats, £576 17s.

BUS DEPOT RATING

ANOMALY OVERCOME NAUNICIPAL bus operators-have been I VI told that the rating anomaly, over depots at Plymouth, Grimsby and Wigan has been overcome. The problem was whether they should be assessed on net annual value or gtoss annual value, and it was brought to light when Plymouth Corporation pointed out that their depot was on a net valuation, whilst that of the Western National Omnibus Co., Ltd., was on gross value, which gave them a concession.

The matter was raised with the Inland Revenue by the Association of Municipal Corporations, who said many depots were on a gross valuation. As a result, valuations for Grimsby, Wigan and Plymouth will be put on a gross basis.

COACH COMPANY WOUND UP

AN order for the compulsory winding up of M. Gordon Coaches (Continental), Ltd., was made by Mr. Justice Vaisey in the Chancery Division on Monday. The petitioning creditors were Welch's Garage (Stapleford), Ltd., Stapleford, Cambridge, who were said to be owed £1,152.

Gordon's were not represented and there was no opposition to the petition.

R.R.S. OVERLOADED LORRY
