• Private buyers for the parcel dispatch and vehicle hire arms of the Government-run Crown Suppliers are likely to be named soon, says the Government. Vehicle hire has a fleet of 4,000 vehicles supplied to 1,000 customers, mostly in the public sector. The despatch service runs the Government's internal letter and parcel delivery and collection service in London and between cities.
