Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• York has developed a tipping skeletal chassis, with rails, which, it says, makes it easier for operators to load and unload containers which have to be pushed forward on the trailer to achieve the right weight distribution.

Bell Lines, which helped design the skeletal, has bought 13. Now available to other customers, it uses a base frame which supports a standard six metre ISO container. Hydraulic rams tip the container to 450 for discharge. The rams are powered from an electrohydraulic power pack on the tractive unit and have controls at both the front and back of the trailer. The rear ones are fitted to a three metre long remote lead. In air-suspended, tri-axle form, the Gliderail weighs 5.5 tonnes giving a payload of 26 tonnes including the standard container.
