• Specification of the Ford turbocharged 360 cu.in. diesel engine in 0800 models (described on pages 46-51 of this issuel will add £245 to the basic price of the rigids and £175 in the case of tipper and tractive unit models. These price increases include the various additional alterations to the chassis that are required.
Prices for new Ford 6-wheelers are as follows: 6 x 2 with four-spring bogie, £3,040 with the single-speed rear axle and £3,190 with the two-speed unit; 6 x 4, four-spring, £3,185 single-speed and £3,325 two-speed; 6 x 4 two-spring, £3,310 single-speed and £3,450 two-speed.
