• A new service, initially in East Anglia but with a prospect of extension to other areas, has been launched by Services Rendered of 44, Viking Way, Holland-on Sea, Essex, (tel: Holland-on-Sea 3180) through which drivers can be made available for commercial, passenger and private car operation. The service covers both short and long-term contract arrangements and short-notice requirements to cover eventualities such as holidays and sickness.
The company claims to have available specialist Continental driver/mechanics with at least 100,000 miles of Continental experience, a knowledge of frontier and documents procedure and a fair knowledge of French. A team of drivers at vantage points throughout the country is available to operate non-stop express delivery services to any part of the British Isles, while others are available to handle p.s.v. or private cars.
The company states that it will offer 24-hour-a-day service seven days a week.
