• A paragraph in the August 16 issue of Commercial Motor may have given the impression that amendments to the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1964 calling for improved rear reflectors was merely a proposal. In fact, as the last four paragraphs of the story on page 19 of that issue make clear, these amendments, and associated amendments to the Construction and Use Regulations are firm amendments which now have the force of law.
The proposals, to which reference was made, relate to stop lamps.
