WITH effect from April I. goods vehicles are now admitted to the Grand Saint Bernard road tunnel up to a maximum gross weight of 26 tons for road trains. 21 tons for allies, and 16 tons for rigids without trailers. This represents a lifting of the restrictions previously it force regarding the weights of goods vehicles using the tunnel.

Season tickets for use of the tunnel at specially reduced rates can be Obtained from the Swiss road haulage association ----TAG, Berne Schlosslistrasse. 39.
