MR. EDWARD JOHNSON has succeeded the late MR. GEORGE DEAN as home sales manager of Fodens, Ltd. Mr. Johnson joined the company in 1914 as an apprentice and became assistant home• sales manager in 1946. MR. H. SNOW is the new assistant home sales manager.
MR. JOHN R. ROPNER is to become chairman of the North-Eastern Transport Users' Consultative Committee in place of SIR MARK HODGSON, Who has resigned on taking up his appointment as a member of the North Eastern Area Board of the British Transport Commission.
MR. P. G. WARE has been appointed chief engineer (electrical) of C.A.V., Ltd. He joined the company in 1950 and was later appointed chief experimental engineer. In 1953 he joined Dowty Fuel Systems, Ltd., and next year became chief 'designer of Dosszty Hydraulic Units, Ltd. MR. J. G. DAWSON, formerly chief engineer of the Shell research centre, Thornton, has become manager of the experimental department of F. Perkins, Ltd.
Ma. F. A. POPE has been appointed an additional director of the John Bull Rubber Co., Ltd. He is a part-time member of the British Transport Commission.
MR. E, P. NEVILLE-TAYLOR has been appointed assistant manager of the London division of the National Benzoic Co., Ltd. He succeeds MR. C. E. WILSON, who has become assistant manager of the Lancashire division.
MR. D. H. Hawcoma, manager of the Ipswich branch of Simms Motor Units, Ltd., is to leave the concern on October 31 and will be replaced by MR. R. E. MARTINSON, Plymouth branch manager. MR. F. T. R.
