TOUR OPERATORS ALLEGE • UNFAIR COMPETITION.

OPERATORS a excursions and tours from Waterfoot objected at the NorthWestern Traffic Commissioners' reCent sitting at Lancaster to an application by Mr. N. Stansfield for permission to run tours from Morecambe to Waterfoot during wakes week.

It was alleged that the firm, having conveyed passengers to Waterfoot, took them, during the remainder of the week, to different places of interest, for an inclusive charge, this constituting unfair competition. The chairman of the Commissioners, Mr. W. Chamberlain, remarked that the point would have to be investigated
