Trainer on Target with new quality standard award
A BLACK COUNTRY training provider claims to be the first in the logistics sector to win a new Government hallmark of excellence.
Targeted Training Projects was awarded the Training Quality Standard (TQS) following a rigorous vetting process to ensure it met the specific needs of employers in road transport.
MD James Billingham says: "It's very much about measuring the impact of training for employers so they can understand what the benefits of it are."
TQS was launched by the Government in May; it is run by the Learning and Skills Council, which has so far awarded the standard to 48 providers.
