GRAVE TYRE SITUATION DEMANDS CARE OF WHEEL RIMS

KJEGLECT of the welfare of tyres1 11 always an evil—has now become an intolerable offence. Where formerly persons who maltreated their tyre equipment were regarded as foolish. they are now held to be acting against the interests of the Nation.

It is seriously damaging to tyres to allow them to become bonded to rusty rims. This may very easily happen if precautions to prevent it be not taken. When it happens, rotting of the beads sets in, whilst to detach the tyres from the metal to which they are so firmly adhering, the use becomes necessary of force so great as inevitably to cause harm to the tyres. Besides these major ills, there is the waste of time and effort entailed.

Many prominent operators, most of the leading tyre companies, and a large number of the authorized tyre depots, protect their tyres (and their customers) by the use of Tyreprim, This, is a preparation which is applied to the rim with a brush, like paint. It prevents rim rusting, tyre adhesion and rim rot. By its use tyre failures are minimized, tyre life is protracted, and tyre removal is rendered a quick and easy job involving the exertion of no forces capable of doing damage.

The maker of Tyreprim is T. R. Parry and Co., .Ltd., IS, Beech Walk, Ewell, Surrey.
