THE sale to Newcastle Corporation of 10 older-type six-wheeler doubledeck trolleybuses owned by Bradford Corporation has been recommended by the latter's passenger transport committee. The arrangement has been made at the instance of the Ministry of War Transport. The Newcastle undertaking, which needs extra vehicles for winter service, was unable to obtain any of the trolleybuses which, built for service in Johannesburg, were sold to Bradford and other towns in this country because of war-time conditions.
