THE TEIONMOUTH MOTOR CAR Co., LTD., 6, Bank Street,— This South Devonshire company owns three Commercars, which it has now had in service for two years. The vehicles are employed to maintain holiday services from Teignmouth over various parts of Dartmoor, the most popular run being that. over the Moor to Princetawn, where a. halt is made for lunch and au opportunity afforded to enable passengers, if they so desire, to see the famous Dartmoor convict prison. Thence the run is continued to Plymouth., where: a stay of about 14 hour is made, and back through Ivybridge, the day's journey being one of about 90 miles. This round trip costs 7s. 6d., which is approximately ld. a mile. An alternative trip, to Princetown via Tavistock. Okehampton and Moreton :iampstead, costs 9s. Other regular mutes to Ashburton via Dart Valley and Buckfastleigh ; to Tothes and Torquay to Ha.ytor (about 32 miles for 3s. 661; to Treadle. hereDown, Becky Falls and Jay's Grave (about 40 miles for 4s.). The Dawlish booking office is in charge of Mr. J. Sbapter, L, The Strand. Mr. W. J. -Burden is the managing director of the Teignmouth Motor Car Co., Ltd. He tells as that the receipts for 1913 have been fairly good, but not as good as during 1912.
