RESIDENTS WHO objected to vehicle noise from a firm delivering car components won a partial victory when a Traffic Commissioner imposed conditions on a licence increase.
North-Western TC Beverley Bell increased the authorisation on the licence held by Rudolph & HelIman Automotive from eight to 10 vehicles hut imposed a condition that no more than eight vehicles be operated at one time.
However, she removed a condition restricting the number of vehicle movements permitted between 7.30pm and Sam.
The company held a licence authorising eight vehicles and 12 trailers based at Marshfield B Industrial Estate, Crewe. Several neighboir residents objected to the proposed increase and removal of the condition on vehicle movements.
