ECON ENGINEERING has won a £900,000 contract with Ringway Infrastructure Services (RIS). which has itself just signed a fivevearit470m maintenance contract with Kent County Council, Econ will be supplying RIS with 31 Dal LF55 4x2 tipper chassis fitted with spreaders and multi-purpose lin ibodies. The vehicles will handle jobs including winter maintenance, emergency response and specialist surface treatments.
Snowploughs are also being supplied to Ringway: it is possible to adjust the angle of the blades from within the cab in order to work around obstructions such as parked cars
