Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

rOMMERCIAL VEHICLE output kr rose sharply in September, but the rate of export was lower than in August. September's weekly average production of 4,813 units compared with 3,750 in August. The total number of vehicles built in September was 24,065. of which 15,056 were for export and 9,009 for. the home market.

September's output of 23,037 goods vehicles, road haulage tractors and special types consisted of 11,905 under 15 cwt., 10,439 between 15 cwt. and 6 tons, and 1,193 over 6 tons. Passenger-vehicle production comprised 672 single-deckand 222 double-deck motorbuses and five trolleybuses, making a total of 899. Batiery-electrics numbered 129.

Production during the first nine months rose to 193,726 units (120,640 for export and 73,086 for the home market). Goods vehicles, road haulage tractors and special types accounted for 184,414, made up as follows: Under 13 cwt., 89,765; 15 cwt. to 6 tons. 86,169; over 6 tons, 8,480. The 8,362 passenger vehicles consisted of 6,284 single-deck and 1,990 double-deck motorbuses and 88 trolley buses. The total was completed by 950 battery-electries.

From January to September, 353 pedestrian-controlled electric vehicles were produced and, in the first eight months of the year, 4,536 works trucks.

Statistics published by the Society of Motor' Manufacturers and Traders show that September's exports of 9,775 vehicles compared with 11,212 in August. The value fell from £5,951.875 in August to £5,535,754 in September.

In the first nine months of the year, 104,922 vehicles, excluding dumpers and industrial trucks, were exported. The total value of shipments, including dumpers and industrial trucks, was £53,482.946. . Other exports consisted of 2,584 used commercial vehicles (£1,193,918), 84,688 agricultural tractors (01,729,629) and parts and accessories to a value of £56,167,092.
