Electrobuses for Vienna.

No w i thstan ding the unsatisfaci ory. results given by accumulator omnibuses in general practice, the Vienna Corporation, according to "The Engineer," has decided to rim this class of machine over a short metropolitan line. Eleven such machines are to be delivered at once. A contract has been arranged at just over 7d. per kiloni.

• "-In re Motor Coaches, Ltd.

Mr. Justice Swinfen Eady heard an application for the appointment of a receiver and manager for Motor Coaches, Ltd., in the Chancery Division last week. Counsel stated that the company carried on business as motorcar owners at Weymouth. Brighton and EastI:itirne. Mr. E. Macdonald ffenderson was appointed for three months. A new Irish motor service has just been established under the title of the Cloughjordan and Portumna Motor Service Co. The roads are very bad in this district, but, at the request of the new company, the local district council has decided to improve the highways over which the motors will run. The necessary improvements will cost 10s. per perch of highway.

The Metropolitan Asylums Board has accepted the tender of Dennis Bros., Ltd., for the supply of two ten-passenger motor omnibuses, at £989 Ns., and one 10-passenger motor omnibus at 2684 10s. The M.A. B. has further accepted the tender of The Continental 'Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd., for the supply of tire covers to the South Eastern Ambulance Station.
