Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Nick White is the transport manager for Servo Steel, which for the past 16 years has processed steel for end users. Until four years ago the company contracted out all of its transport requirements but then decided it would be more economical to manage it inhouse. To begin with it took on just part of the work with a few used Oaf 95s, but with an expansion in the business that took deliveries further afield the company decided to take total control of its entire transport operation with 15 Renault Premiums.

"They are all 420s except for one 380 which came after the others," White reports. "Our local dealer, Renault Truck Midlands, supplied the original trucks and found an extra one for us quickly after we had taken on new work. They are all leased. We tendered to nearly all of the manufacturers but Renault wanted the business and was quite keen on the price, and we quite liked the truck's appearance.

"They are all 6x2s with the lift axle and the large Privilege cab and are plated for 44 tonnes. Most of our customers are within a 2 mile radius of us so the trucks only coy about 80,000km a year but we plan to repla them with new vehicles at the end of t three-year term.

"There were a few little rattles and knoc to be sorted out to begin with. We didn't expe everything to be just right—not on all 15 vet des taken at the same time—but there w. nothing serious and most of these minor faul were quickly sorted by the dealer.

"One driver did complain about the steerir lie was in Wigan at the time so he took t! truck to the local Renault dealer there wl lent him a replacement unit while th replaced the steering box. That is a good thi about the Renault setup: if you do have a pro lem you can take the truck to the neare dealer and they will sort it.

"Drivers all have their own ideas of what tru they would like to be driving. Most of them took the Premiums from the start and the one or t) that didn't have come to like them since."
