TESCO IS PLANNING tochange the terms and conditions of hundreds of drivers when it replaces two sites with a £75m distribution depot in Scotland next year.
But the Transport & General Workers Union (T&G) warns that it will fight any changes that leave its members worse off.
The move follows the company's rapid expansion to 90 stores in Scotland, leaving its existing distribution depots in Livingston and Dundee short of capacity.
The new depot in Livingston will add 2(X) jobs hut 4(X) jobs will go when the Dundee site closes.
TheT&G'sTonyTrench says:"If they think for one minute they can worsen terms and conditions we will fight them."
