• The EU Transport Ministers meeting in Luxembourg last week "adopted a common position" on the framework directive on carriage of dangerous goods (ADR).
The move means theclirective is likely to go through the Parliament during the German presidency. The EL deadline for implementation remains 1 January 1997.
