Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Your local British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) is a good place to start as networking opportunities are regional, and can he developed in person or online.

Charlie Nettle, head of marketing at the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC),says:"The opportunities for business networking are one of the main reasons why people join NECC. For as little as 68p a day a business can become a member and enjoy a range of events around the region. We focus on the opportunity for business people to make contacts and build their profile in the region.

"We regularly run a number of events. from the more informal breakfast, lunch and after-hours events, to our annual regional dinners at which we have welcomed a number of prestigious speakers," says Nettle.

"Such opportunities to meet potential customers, suppliers or colleagues are vital if a business is to expand and prosper. Members report that they rarely come away from NECC events without having made a number of valuable contacts."

Membership starts at 1240 a year, which includes four free networking events a month, as well as the opportunity to sit on local committees to network at a local level, and also to attend information seminars.
