Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

' ▪ HREE Daimler Roadliner and three

Leyland Panther rear-engined singledecker bus chassis have been ordered by Sunderland Corporation Transport. These will be the first 36 It.-long single-deckers to enter service with the Corporation, and presumably will be pilot vehicles following the ratification, in principle, by the full council of the department's proposals to switch completely to one-man single-decker buses. The council is to consider the proposals more fully at its next meeting, after studying a full report by Mr. Norman Morton describing the proposals.

The Daimler buses will be fitted with Cummins V6 engines and Daimatic two-pedal transmission, whilst the Panthers will have the 0.600 Leyland engine and Pneumocyclic transmission. Early delivery of the chassis has been called for.
