between Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire (Eire) was inaugurated on Monday when the 3,800ton vessel "Holyhead Ferry 1" made her maiden voyage. The ferry will be in service until October 16 and during peak periods of the holiday will make two journeys daily in each direction, leaving Holyhead at 1045 and 2015, and Dun ,Laoghaire at 0600 and 1530.
