• 1MS, the UK agent for German SAF trailer running gear, will soon be marketing an air suspension which, it claims, is 60kg lighter than its existing tri-axle kits.
The AR 414 ES, which uses single-leaf trailing arm springs, is said to give a tri-axle combination weight of 1,398kg when coupled with SAF nine-tonne axles.
